I got this from Jack Kruse's recent blog. This is at the source of my previous carb addiction/sleep issues.
When you suffer from a disrupted circadian clock you perceive you do need carbs.
A low melotonin status tells us we have higher ROS present in the central nervous system. Melatonin is the most potent anti-oxidant in the brain followed by oxytocin and DHEA.
Lowered ATP = Leptin resistance = low melatonin = low brain dopamine levels = upside progesterone to estradiol levels = low testosterone levels = low vitamin D levels.

I just typed HCG, I think it's hcg diet plus. I am up 1.4 pounds. But I've still been cheating.

I finally hit the range I've haven't been able to hit in years. If I don't cheat, I'll be able to lose these last 15 lbs by the end of Feb. *crosses fingers*
Total loss. 24.4 lbs.
