Good luck to those going natural  I'm still happily relaxed...guess I should do an update since I haven't posted in a while.. A couple months ago I cut a couple inches of thin ends. My hair was full APL/grazing BSL. Now it's full BSL again. I'm guessing I can hit waist length in 2013...full MBL by dec 2012. My regimen is in full swing again...my PJism isn't nearly as bad as it was before but I'm starting to have interest in trying new products again (today I bought a few to try). As for specific growth products: Megatek and biotin supplements (3000-5000mcg daily).

HEEEYY EVERYONE! it's been a while! I just wanted to share with everyone my milestone. September marks my 1 year anniversary of hair growing, and the 3rd marks my birthday. My gift to myself was hip length hair, but I have decided to grow for another 4-5 inches before i feel satisfied. anyway, here are my update pictures and a recap of my entire journey so far:

Okay I just finished roller-setting my hair...and man, that was a job. I haven't roller set my hair since spring. It's getting more & more difficult doing this myself. Anyway, I plan on doing roller sets weekly & stay away from the blow dryer & flat iron. Anyway...depending on how this comes out, I'll take some flicks.

I'm BSB with some new growth, about half inch unaccounted for. Stupid board wont let me upload pictures but its in my Fotki under 2012 Progress Snaps. I have about 4 inches to go, so WL is still possible by December 31st.

Hey Flow!! Try and post the pics man...we need some in this thread.
I did my roller set & it came out really nice. BUT not much growth..so I didn't take any pics. My hair is a little past MBL...I trimmed in april. I'm hoping I can make it close to WL by December.

I'm at the 7 on my length shirt. Getting to 11 seems so impossible but I'm keeping the faith and pushing myself to stay on track. I shoulda never cut my hair when I was at 8 last year. What was I thinking??????? My perms don't take right anymore. Cant get bone straight for anything so measuring isn't accurate. My ends break ridiculously, even though I've been in braids for the last few months. Ive tried all that I can think of with my ends and I'm sure thats the root of my growth issues. The rest of my hair is strong and healthy, so its gotta be the ends that are suffering. I don't have anymore MM4, so been using MM2 instead. The difference in growth is really obvious. Starting MTG treatments 3x a week this week.

That's gotta be frustrating. You have to figure out what's going on with your ends or you'll have terrible retention. Can you run down your regi with particular attention to how you handle your ends. Let's figure this out.
