Hello Ladies!! hope all is well with yall and the weight loss journey..
I wanted to let you ladies know that i am (and have been for almost 4 months now) FINALLY UNDER 200 LBS!! I'm only 196, but i've come such a long way. this time last year i was 240 lbs!! What helped me was cardio, dieting, and discipline (which was my biggest problem)......
from Jan. - June last year, while staying with my aunt in va., i did a lot of workouts on the Wii game (Just Dance 3, Michael Jackson The Experience, Wii Fit) and also did a lot of walking/jogging in the neighborhood..as far as dieting: I cooked most of my foods coconut oil (especially meats)..it tastes really good and i didn't have to use much seasoning if at all...i stopped eating fried foods...all i did was grill and bake...ate lots of fruits and made fruit smoothies(using YOPLAIT YOGURT AND FROZEN STRAWBERRIES AND BLUEBERRIES)..and i greatly increased my water intake..no sodas and i try watch what juices i get.
In the month of june i didn't have much of a diet and i worked out a couple days out the week...i was visiting my dad so i wasn't really focusing on my workouts n diet.
From July-October i stayed in Washington state with another aunt...and i immediately got back on my workout and diet...it was easier here because my aunt and cousin go to zumba classes on a joint Army/Air Force base everyday and walk a 4 mile trail at least once a weak..i fell in love with the class on the first day..Its very fun and you're not even thinking about it being a workout while you're doing it..after a while i would spend a day on the eliptical machine and the next day at zumba..and as far as dieting, it was pretty much the same as what i was doing in va...by the end of september i was at 198 lbs.
In october i moved back to in (decided to get back in school)..since i've been back I haven't been as focused as i was before...i don't workout that much, so i TRY to stick to eating right..i've managed to keep my weight under 200 but i know i can do better as far as working out and eating better than what i am now...i have a lot of days where i binge eat (really stressed lately..in school, fam issues, and working on getting my own place now)...i think once i get some off my stressors taken care of i'll get my diet and workout back on track.....im so stressed i have next to no motivation to start back up..i know i need to get it together before i mess around and get back in the 200's
