How? Good riddance to the baby?

I'm scared of what you might say

Huh? Confused
I'd say the mother is irresponsible.

But standing your kid on a railing is tantamount to criminal negligence IMO.  Wouldn't charge her, tho.  She paid a high price for her stupidity already.

I just read that the medical examiner declared that it was the dogs and not the fall that killed him.  They needed to establish that so that the family can't sue for the railing being "faulty" or craziness like that.

Do you think the mother made a attempt to take a picture ? Cry

A reasonable person should know to exercise care when it comes to high places and babies.

Yeah, but you know how people love to try to find a way around things. LOL

This story angered me. I really didn't want to go there, but why the hell would any sensible person put their 2 yr old on that railing? Seriously now? Poor baby.
people do it because they want to make sure that their kids can see. When I take my son to the zoo you see it at every animal exhibit. I carry my son on my shoulders so he an see over everyone else.

I understand the concept. Doesn't change the fact that it is stupid.

IA
Also you have some physical control of your kid on your shoulders as well.  Their legs are wrapped around your neck and you possibly are holding one or both of their legs.  Your head blocks them from falling forward.  That's different then him/her standing a a rail.  Big difference.

i hope her ass gets charge....stupid ass!!!!!
poor baby, with a dumb ass like that for a mom he didnt stand a chance.

She's hurting enough jeez she lost her child because of her mistake.

I do agree all zoos shouldn't have open enclosures like this but it still doesn't take blame from the mother.

I hope eventually she gets some peach of mind, because it won't come quickly or easily.
