they are pissed b/c they don't think he could really work both jobs and that he is half-assing both jobs  but collecting all the money, so he is stealing the money.

also flint and detroit are arguing b/c of contract stuff over water and his involvement w/ both cities are considered by some as conflict of interest.

i think ppl only started to get pissed when they saw how much he was making. i think he was doing pretty good.

*reread the article...its possible to commute btw the 2 cities, they are far apart but i know ppl who do it everyday.

If they so mad there's always the solution of working just as hard to make their own money instead of worrying about somebody else's employment and pockets.

It's not like him having two jobs is what's stopping others from being able to get a job though.

Boy they sure don't want black people to make money.

I used to work 2 full time jobs so that I could earn six figures. It was easy with my schedule. I worked Sun-Wed 7am to 7pm  and then Wed-Sat. 11pm to 8 am. Wednesday was a tough day but I would sleep in my car.

It got to management and I was forced out of the main job. People were actually jealous.

I guess if you aren't working 20 hours a day to pick cotton for nothing, it's unacceptable.

I don't see the issue. If he's doing good at BOTH jobs then it's not a problem IMO.

exactly---I didn't like the tone of the article either--why couldn't they be more positive and say anything is possible and why is that other guy disappointed?
