Thanks...and no its not a silk top I just used the sally hensen spray color "deep glow" on the inside of the cap. I usually like to spray the deep glow onto any surface (i.e. piece of paper) and using those wedge make up sponges dab the inside of the lace till its the color I want, I used to use a foundation brush but I noticed that it would pick up too much of the color and it would come thru the lace. Using a make-up sponge allows you to apply it more gently.

I used cohesive bandage & Ghost Bond.  The knots were faux bleached with Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in Medium Glow:

Looking good, I use the Sally Jensen spray too except I use deep glow
