This is also exposing the classism in the black community and how disconnected the ones who "made it" are from those that haven't. It also shows that even the blacks who have "made it" have no power and are not respected by their white cohorts.
Black older people spent all of their time perpetuating this myth of "black on black" crime and demeaning those who live in poor areas so much so that they have ostracized themselves. You create a VERY unbalanced narrative when you say "black people do this" but it gives you pause to say what white people do. They have sold themselves by pandering to whites. So NOW those same older black people are trying to 'get control' over the situation and the younger generation they have demeaned are no longer listening.

I heard talk of a grand jury. When are they convening? That murderous cop should have been arrested by now. This is taking way too long, I'm afraid that some other big headline is gonna come in and overshadow the events in Ferguson. I can't believe they are deploying this much energy to save just one white killer cop. |
Agree, Arrest need to be made soon!!, they rather deal with crisis, of prosters every night, than to arrest the Pig, who started of all this!!

FERGUSON, Missouri – The office of the county prosecutor has said a grand jury could start hearing evidence Wednesday in the fatal shooting of unarmed African-American teen Michael Brown by a white police officer on August 9. “We’re going to attempt to present evidence to the grand jury on Wednesday,” Ed Magee, a spokesman for St. Louis County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch, told msnbc, stressing the word “attempt.” The Grand Jury is composed of twelve citizens who are chosen at random by a circuit judge, who presides over the Grand Jury. A new Grand Jury is chosen for each of the three Terms of Court held each year. Since the St. Louis County Grand Jury meets every Wednesday during the term, a Grand Juror can expect to serve approximately sixteen to twenty days during that period. The Grand Jury's function is to make an important preliminary decision about a criminal charge: whether or not probable cause exists that a crime has been committed and that the accused committed it. All felony charges must be presented for consideration either by the Grand Jury or by an associate circuit judge at a preliminary examination, and a little less than half of the cases prosecuted in St. Louis County are presented to the Grand Jury. If probable cause is found in either of these equivalent proceedings, a "True Bill" is found, an indictment is filed, and the criminal charge against the accused may continue on to trial or plea of guilty. If probable cause is not found, a "No True Bill" is found, and prosecution of the case ceases. The Grand Jury, thus, determines the future of all criminal cases brought before it.

did you guys see this? Store owners speak out about surveillance video after release
Posted 6:11 pm, August 15, 2014, by Jeff Bernthal, Updated at 06:10pm, August 15, 2014
FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – The surveillance tapes allegedly showing
Michael Brown robbing a Ferguson market. Friday, for the first time,
the owners are speaking out through an attorney about the surveillance
video.
The owner of the store dispute the claim that they or an employee
called 911, saying a customer inside the store made the call. They also
say St. Louis County issues the warrants for the hard drive of
surveillance video Friday.
When asked how Ferguson police ended up with the video that the
Ferguson police chief issued Friday morning. The attorney said during
the course of Ferguson’s investigation they came to the store and asked
to review the tape. But it wasn’t until Friday that St. Louis County
investigators issued a warrant for the video many of you have already
seen.
The attorney for the owners of the store says the owners do not wish
to be wrapped up in the middle of this. They are simply complying with
police orders and again the attorney wanted to emphasize the 911 call
did not come from the owners or an employee.
The attorney says this market has been in the community for a long time and they hope to continue serving this community.

Can someone please post the link to the petition for the attorney to recuse himself? THIS one matters a lot.
Half of this man's family is in the police force.
