Or we could all move in together to help rehabilitate each other.

I like the way you think SaF

This is actually what the young man who came to Michelle Alexander did. He came with a notebook full of in-detail encounters he had with the police for years

We need something more official, maybe we can incorporate that with the website idea

Black people also need to stop being intimidated by White people and their love for pulling out false crime stats. We need to be more knowledgeable about data like this, that plainly proves the structural inequalities of the system

You know what? I think that's something black communities can start doing; posting how much police in every county/city/state racial profiles them. I am sure in at least 99% of the counties that has a large population of blacks, those are the ones most stopped and arrested by the police.

I think maybe a bit of everything could be done by black people: marches, protests, sit downs in front of police/sheriff stations, pics of police harassing blacks, racial profiling by the police in the form of racial profiling data, etc

Word. There's a lot of hate and distrust but we'll work that out.

ppl wont want to talk about fixing the issues within the black community although this is clearly the first step to a solution

From what https://twitter.com/Nettaaaaaaaa is saying it seems like they have some good ideas.

Are there any websites dedicated to or feature Black community organizing? Something like a meetup.com where you can put in your area and see what's near you

a website with the data is a good idea, that way every time some moronic white spills their racist venom on twitter/instagram/fb or a black person is killed, people can just link the data

I am trying to find the data for LA, but have not had luck. I tried racial profiling, report arrests LA. Will continue to try.

boycott stores that racial profile blacks aka 7/11, korean liquors, etc,  is a good start. support black businesses.
