http://youtu.be/yDm7iE7K-XA I do not know how to Embed this and I am not a Weave person but should you keep 40 developer on Hair for 12 hours just seems a little crazy isn't it like Bleach? I am in noway say the Hair was good before but I never heard anyone say they have kept developer on this long.

I haven't looked at the video yet but 40 developer is one of the strongest developers you can use. I'm sure the color vets can chime in better than me, but 40 developer normally starts working within 10 minutes of application. And if you leave it on too long it can literally break hair off.

ETA:

Just watched like 4 min of the vid. This is why I don't take YT "gurus" seriously. If the hair was so horrible from the jump (i.e. tangling & poor weft construction) how could you ever feel comfortable to post a vid even promoting it?

Developers is just peroxide which only lift maybe up to 4 shades plus it will stop working after a while but I wouldn't leave peroxide on hair that long.

She would've tried to push the hair if the owner never said anything to her. She kept saying how she just washed out the developer/box dye, anytime I do either I always make sure to DC or some kind of protein treatment.
