thank you! It took me a loooooong time. I have been drooling over locs for probably 10 years. I seriously waited until I was good and ready. There really are some hard stages where you have to be confident and know it's part of the process. I think that's where you need courage. I was natural for two years before locking so I had a little bit of length (though not much because I couldn't keep the scissors off my hair
) but enough.
I had to learn to embrace the things that drove me crazy as a loose natural like shrinkage, frizz and single strand knots
I still get these but I don't grab the scissors and go to town
I'm really glad I finally did it! The fact that you're in the loc section is promising.....that's how it started for me......looking at other people's locs
