The Sisterlocks moisture treatment cream is mostly jojoba oil and it softens locks without leaving them greasy.  It makes a good spritzer too, because it's water soluable.  I like to use it mixed with water as a setting lotion when the weather is hot and dry.

I used 100% pure jojoba oil as a hot oil treatment a few days ago and I was very impressed with the results. My hair was soft, shiny and very light (not weighed down).

This is an EXCELLENT idea!!!

I'll try that tomorrow on wash day.  A hot oil treatment is something I rarely do, but.......THANKS!!  It'll be fun!

Here's what I did:

I put a bowl of water in the microwave for a minute or two until almost boiling. Then I put some oil in a separate plastic cup (the disposable ones worked best) and submerged the cup in water until the oil was hot (but not scalding).

I put the hot oil on my hair when it was dry. This method worked for me but I found some slightly different methods when I did a search on this site.

I kept it on for 30 minutes under a hooded dryer.
